Roope Roine

For the past 30 years, Roope has been teaching and guiding mountain activities across Europe, the Himalayas, and Greenland. His other passion is guiding and teaching sea kayaking—a skill he has shared in 15 different countries! While Finland is his home base, the world is his playground.

Roope is a NOLS Wilderness Medicine instructor and teaches courses in English, Swedish, and Finnish. He holds a Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician (WEMT) certification and runs his own guiding business, Moln. Roope is fluent in Swedish, Finnish, and English and speaks good Norwegian and Spanish.
