Five and a half days of intense training in Wilderness Advanced First Aid. NOLS Wilderness Medicine will teach you the skills needed so you can care for an injured friend or client until the pros arrive. These courses are open to everyone. No previous experience needed. A few spots on this WAFA course is open to folks who need to recertify their Wilderness First Responder (WFR). CPR and a larger evening scenario is included. We promise that you will have fun while learning really important skills! 50% of our time are hands-on with outdoor scenarios! A WAFA course is recommended for all Outdoor guides and instructors.
