Lucas grew up in Chile, went to high school in USA and now he lives in Berlin, Germany. He has taken a NOLS Semester (3 months) in Patagonia, Chile and many NOLS Wilderness Medicine courses over the years. Lucas has been a trekking guide since 2010 and works for Outward Bound Germany since 2018. He has a German EMT certificate and hopes to teach all WFA, WAFA and WFR courses with us, not only in Europe but all over the world. Here are some of Lucas words:
“My many years of experience in varied and often challenging outdoor spaces alongside my passion for self-development (nurtured in both NOLS and Outward Bound Germany), have brought me to a place where spreading the message of proper first aid, with both its knowledge and human values; have become a conrete objective of mine. I believe NOLS Wilderness Medicine is the next step in my journey and I am looking forward to teaching the NOLS Wilderness Medicine curriculum.”
