Jonathan grew up in Hamburg and spent half of his life in Norway, mostly on the Arctic Archipelago of Svalbard. His educational background is in Geosciences, while his professional experience consists of field-work in remote Arctic regions for tourism, research, the film-industry and government services. He has guided snowmobile, kayak, ski and trekking-journeys, been a volunteer glacier-rescue service member and is an experienced skipper for RIBs and cabin cruisers. Jonathan is a NOLS certified Wilderness First Responder and overseeing the logistical aspects of Crossing Latitudes. In his spare time, he loves to bike, run, ski and travel.
