Jotunheimen is Norway's premier National Park also known as "HOME OF THE GIANTS". Experience the Sognefjord and the Jotunheimen mountains on the same trip. We start and end this trip in Bergen on the west coast of Norway. After a day of traveling by ferry along the Sognefjord (the longest and deepest fjord in Norway) we will reach the most spectacular mountain range in Scandinavia! The rugged glaciated peaks of Jotunheimen National Park will take your breath away. Two local mountain lodges will be our base. You don’t need to be a “mountain goat” in order to enjoy this adventure. You just need to be in good shape and enjoy hiking in alpine environments. Day hike options are 4 - 8 hours with elevation gains from 200 to 1000 meters. You can choose between easy and challenging hikes on a daily basis For those who are really adventures we will join the Norwegian Mountain Association on a day and cross one of the many glaciers in the Jotunheimen mountains.
