Warm Mediterranean waters, colorful scenery,ancient history and fascinating cultures make this a world class sea kayaking destination.

The Dodecanese is a group of over 163 islands and islets, of which only 26 are inhabited. They are in the Southeast corner of the Aegean sea just above Crete.

The coastlines of these small islands are ribboned with magical white rock formations, idyllic beaches and classic Greek villages. The clear water ranges from azure to sparkling blue. This coastal waters are rich in flora, fish, shipwrecks and deep sea caves.

This Sea Kayaking Trip is for folks with previous paddling experience who'd like to further improve their paddling skills and maybe challenge themselves among rock gardens and in surf. We will use mostly high performance NDK fiberglass single kayaks. A few doubles are also available. On this warm water trip our route and timetable will be subject to change in accordance with the weather and paddlers' abilities. We plan to stay at local guest houses where delicious Greek meals are served.

The warm Mediterranean climate is ideal for practicing technical paddling skills, working on rescues and kayak surfing. A BCU certified coach (level 4) will join us on this expedition.
