Come join us for some of the best paddling in Norway - The Lofoten Islands! On this expedition we paddle through glacially carved fjords surrounded by snow covered peaks and low forested islands formed by glacial moraines. In Øksfjord we’ll paddle by picture postcard settlements clinging to the steep mountainsides. At the end of Øksfjord you can hike through a spectacular alpine environment with gushing waterfalls and hanging glacial valleys surrounded by snow covered peaks. We hope to explore this remote wilderness by foot for a day and then ride the outgoing tide enroute to the Svellingen Archipelago. Previous paddling experience is not necessary though some stamina and endurance are required due to the distances between camps (averaging 10-15 nautical miles per day).
